2022 Ranking of Ukraine Universities

What are Ukraine’s most famous universities? Topuniversitieslist attempts to address this issue by releasing the Ukrainian University Ranking for 2022, which includes 186 Ukrainian higher-education institutions that fulfill the Topuniversitieslist quality criteria:

  • being chartered, registered, or certified by the relevant Ukrainian higher education-related institution, and providing at least four-year undergraduate degrees (bachelor degrees) or postgraduate degrees (master or doctoral degrees) in a conventional, face-to-face, non-distance education style.

Each university is licensed and officially recognized by the state. The name of these universities is in the world ranking for their achievements in education. The main purpose of the courses and programs is to guide students and develop their ability to apply the knowledge taught. Universities expand cooperation with other countries, which leads to more students studying abroad. Universities have freedom in the preparation and implementation of curricula, in the conduct of scientific work, and in the awarding of academic degrees (diploma and doctoral degrees). Admission to these universities ranges from 75 to 80 percent. Every year, new specialties are created and personnel are trained for those specialties. Modern universities operate as a scientific-pedagogical unit, they have faculties that carry out teaching work in several specialties. New specialties are mainly specialties related to the globalization period. 2022 Sub-rankings by provinces and territories

Ukraine consists of 27 provinces, including 24 provinces, one federal republic (Republic of Crimea) and two cities with special status (Kyiv and Sevastopol). The capital city of Kyiv Oblast and Kharkiv Oblast have many higher education institutions that follow the Topuniversitieslist selection criteria. Both regions with at least two Ukrainian higher education institutions matching the Topuniversitieslist placement criterion are included in the following Topuniversitieslist sub-rankings or league tables.
