2021 Ranking of Azerbaijan Universities

What are Azerbaijan’s most famous universities? Topuniversitieslist attempts to address this issue by releasing the Azerbaijani University Ranking for 2021, which includes 42 Azerbaijani higher-education institutions that fulfill the Topuniversitieslist selection criteria:

offering at least four-year undergraduate degrees (bachelor degrees) or postgraduate degrees (master or doctoral degrees) delivered primarily in a conventional, face-to-face, non-distance education format and being chartered, certified, or approved by the relevant Azerbaijani higher education-related organization

2021 Sub-rankings by provinces and territories

Azerbaijan is split into 59 rayonlar (Azerbaijani: s?hrl?r) districts, 11 towns (Azerbaijani: s?hrl?r), and one autonomous republic (Azerbaijani: muxtar respublika). Municipalities (Azerbaijani: Bldiyy?) are subdivided from Rayons. The district of Absheron, which is located in the east of the region, hosts Azerbaijan’s capital Baku and is the most populous district in the country, has the greatest number of higher education institutions that follow the Topuniversitieslist selection criterion. Both administrative units of at least two Azerbaijani higher education institutions matching the Topuniversitieslist selection criterion are included in the following Topuniversitieslist sub-rankings or league tables.
