2021 Ranking of Georgia Universities
What are Georgia’s most famous universities? Topuniversitieslist attempts to address this issue by releasing the Georgian University Ranking for 2021, which includes 48 Georgian higher-education institutions that fulfill the Topuniversitieslist quality criteria:
being chartered, registered, or certified by the relevant Georgian higher education-related body, and providing at least four-year undergraduate degrees (bachelor degrees) or postgraduate degrees (master or doctoral degrees) in a conventional, face-to-face, non-distance education style.

2021 Sub-rankings by provinces and territories
Georgia is divided into three autonomous republics (avtonomiuri respublika in Georgian), 12 regions (mkhare in Georgian), and municipalities (munits’ipaliteti in Georgian). The vast majority of higher education institutions that follow the Topuniversitieslist selection criteria are located in the Tbilisi district, which includes the capital and largest city of Tbilisi. The following Topuniversitieslist league tables or sub-rankings contain all administrative divisions in at least two Georgian higher education institutions that meet the Topuniversitieslist distribution criteria.
