2021 Ranking of Greece Universities

What are the most well-known Greek universities? Topuniversitieslist attempts to address this issue by releasing the Greek University Ranking for 2021, which includes 32 Greek higher-education institutions that fulfill the Topuniversitieslist quality criteria:

  • being chartered, registered, or certified by the relevant Greek higher education-related body, and providing at least four-year undergraduate degrees (bachelor degrees) or postgraduate degrees (master or doctoral degrees) in a conventional, face-to-face, non-distance education style.

2021 Sub-rankings by provinces and territories

The Hellenic Republic is divided into 13 provinces, each of which has its own administrative unit. The Attica zone, which includes the entire metropolitan area of Athens, the country’s capital and largest city, has the highest concentration of higher education institutions that follow the Topuniversitieslist selection criterion. Both regions with at least two Greek higher education institutions matching the Topuniversitieslist placement criterion are included in the following Topuniversitieslist sub-rankings or league tables.
