2021 Ranking of Kazakhstan Universities

What are Kazakhstan’s most famous universities? Topuniversitieslist attempts to address this issue by releasing the Kazakhstani University Ranking for 2021, which includes 107 Kazakhstani higher-education institutions that fulfill the Topuniversitieslist selection criteria:

offering at least four-year undergraduate degrees (bachelor degrees) or postgraduate degrees (master or doctoral degrees) delivered primarily in a conventional, face-to-face, non-distance education format and being chartered, certified, or approved by the relevant Kazakhstani higher education-related institution

2021 Sub-rankings by provinces and territories

Kazakhstan is divided into 14 regions (oblystar in Kazakh), which are further subdivided into districts (adandar in Kazakh), and four autonomous cities. Almaty is home to the overwhelming majority of higher education institutions that follow the Topuniversitieslist selection criterion. Both regions and autonomous cities with at least two Kazakhstani higher education institutions matching the Topuniversitieslist selection criterion are included in the following Topuniversitieslist league tables or sub-rankings.
