2022 Sub-rankings by provinces and territories
The Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal is divided into 77 districts. There are also seven provinces in Nepal (Nepal: Pradeshaharu). The state of Bagmati Pradesh has the largest number of higher education institutions that follow the Topuniversitieslist selection criteria. Both provinces with at least two Nepalese higher education institutions matching the Topuniversitieslist placement criterion are included in the following Topuniversitieslist sub-rankings or league tables.
