What are Nicaragua’s most famous universities? Topuniversitieslist attempts to address this issue by releasing the Nicaraguan University Ranking for 2022, which includes 52 universities in Nicaragua that fulfill the Topuniversitieslist selection criteria:

offering at least four-year undergraduate degrees (bachelor degrees) or postgraduate degrees (master or doctoral degrees) delivered primarily in a conventional, face-to-face, non-distance education format and being chartered, certified, or approved by the relevant Nicaraguan higher education-related institution

These universities differ from each other in terms of acceptance rate and quality of education.Universities in Haiti have various centers related to education. Also, the number of such centers is increasing every year.The university acceptance rate of  both cities is increasing every year. The acceptance rate to these universities is from 20 to 25 percent.  Various projects and scientific conferences are held at the universities here. 2022 Sub-rankings by provinces and territories

Nicaragua is divided into 15 departments (Spanish: departamentos) and two autonomous regions (Spanish: regiones autónomas) by the government. The Managua department, which includes the capital and largest city of Managua, is home to the overwhelming majority of higher education institutions that follow the Topuniversitieslist selection criterion. Both departments with at least two Nicaraguan higher education institutions matching the Topuniversitieslist selection criterion are included in the following Topuniversitieslist league tables or sub-rankings.
