2022 Ranking of Norway Universities
What are Norway’s most famous universities? Topuniversitieslist has published the 2022 Norwegian University Ranking, which includes 29 Norwegian higher-education institutions that fulfill the Topuniversitieslist selection criteria:
- being chartered, registered, or certified by the relevant Norwegian higher education-related body, and providing at least four-year undergraduate degrees (bachelor degrees) or postgraduate degrees (master or doctoral degrees) in a conventional, face-to-face, non-distance education style.

2022 Sub-rankings by provinces and territories
Norway is split into 11 counties (fylker in Norwegian), which are then divided into 356 municipalities. The county of Oslo, which contains the largest and capital city of Oslo, has the greatest number of higher education institutions that follow the Topuniversitieslist listing criterion. All counties with at least two Norwegian higher education institutions matching the Topuniversitieslist selection criterion are included in the following Topuniversitieslist sub-rankings or league tables.
