2021 Ranking of Sudan Universities
What are Sudan’s most famous universities? Topuniversitieslist has published the 2021 Sudanese University Ranking, which includes 52 Sudanese higher-education institutions that fulfill the Topuniversitieslist selection criteria:
being chartered, registered, or certified by the relevant Sudanese higher education-related institution, and providing at least four-year undergraduate degrees (bachelor degrees) or postgraduate degrees (master or doctoral degrees) in a conventional, face-to-face, non-distance education style.

2021 Sub-rankings by provinces and territories
The Sudanese Republic is divided into 18 states (Arabic: wilayat) and one administratively special district. The overwhelming majority of higher education institutions that follow the Topuniversitieslist selection criterion are located in Khartoum Province, which includes Sudan’s capital and largest city, Khartoum. Both states with at least two Sudanese higher education institutions that fulfill the Topuniversitieslist selection criterion are included in the following Topuniversitieslist sub-rankings or league tables.
