2022 Ranking of Uzbekistan Universities

What are Uzbekistan’s most famous universities? Topuniversitieslist attempts to address this issue by releasing the Uzbekistani University Ranking for 2022, which includes 67 Uzbek higher-education institutions that fulfill the Topuniversitieslist selection criteria:

  • being chartered, registered, or certified by the relevant Uzbekistani higher education-related institution, and providing at least four-year undergraduate degrees (bachelor degrees) or postgraduate degrees (master or doctoral degrees) in a conventional, face-to-face, non-distance education style.

2022 Sub-rankings by provinces and territories

Uzbekistan is divided into 12 regions (viloyatlar in Uzbek), one autonomous republic, and one independent city. Tashkent, the autonomous and capital region, is home to the overwhelming majority of higher education institutions that follow the Topuniversitieslist selection criterion. Both regions with at least two Uzbekistani higher education institutions matching the Topuniversitieslist placement criterion are included in the following Topuniversitieslist sub-rankings or league tables.
