  • being chartered, registered, or certified by the relevant Bosnian and Herzegovina higher education-related institution, and providing at least four-year undergraduate degrees (bachelor degrees) or postgraduate degrees (master or doctoral degrees) in a conventional, face-to-face, non-distance education style.

2022 Sub-rankings by provinces and territories

The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Federacije Bosne I Hercegovine) and the Republika Srpska are the two bodies that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Federation is further split into ten independent cantons (Bosnian: kantoni). The plurality of higher education institutions that follow the Topuniversitieslist selection criterion are based in the Republika Srpska entity in the country’s north. Both cantons of at least two Bosnian and Herzegovina higher education institutions that fulfill the Topuniversitieslist selection criterion are included in the following Topuniversitieslist sub-rankings or league tables.
