2022 Sub-rankings by provinces and territories

Kenya’s Republic is split into 47 counties. Nairobi region, which includes the capital and largest city of Nairobi, has the greatest number of higher education institutions that follow the Topuniversitieslist selection criterion. Both counties with at least two Kenyan higher education institutions that fulfill the Topuniversitieslist selection criterion are included in the following Topuniversitieslist sub-rankings or league tables.
